Book Club: "The Midnight Library"
For our first Book Club gathering of 2025, we will be discussing The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, a novel about life’s choices, regrets, and the search for an answer to the ultimate question: what is the best way to live?
Death, Documents & Donuts
Join us for “Death, Documents & Donuts” and carve out a couple of hours on a Saturday morning to get familiar with advance planning documents and work on your forms. We’ll supply the coffee and donuts, and end-of-life professionals will be on hand to answer questions and explain paperwork.
Minding our Mortality: Game Night
Join us for an evening of death-themed card and board games to get folks talking—and laughing! Whether you’re a competitive gamer or enjoy playing just for fun, this promises to be a lively gathering for connections and conversations.

Field Trip: "Death in New York" walking tour
Join Here to Honor on a special Field Trip: a “Death in New York” walking tour presented by Purefinder New York! This 2 hours and 45 minutes walking tour takes us through Battery Park, the Financial District, Tribeca, and Chinatown as we learn about NYC’s history of burial grounds, epidemics, executions, and more.
Special Event: Care for End-of-Life Carers
Calling all healthcare professionals working at the intersection of end-of-life: you are invited to take a break and connect with yourself and with others. Join us for an evening of care through reiki, guided meditation, somatic practices, and snacks.

For our next MoM: Field Trip, we’re going to see a show! Join us downtown at Sea Dog Theater on Wednesday, March 20th for their production of “Tuesdays with Morrie,” starring Tony Award winner Len Cariou and Chris Domig. Based on the best-selling memoir by Mitchell Albom, this is a humorous and poignant story that begins when a career-obsessed journalist goes back to visit his college professor who, sixteen years later, is facing terminal illness.
