Webinar: A Chaplain’s Perspective on Medical Aid in Dying

What is Medical Aid in Dying? How is it different from euthanasia? And how can you support someone who is considering this as a viable treatment alternative? Join us as we delve into these conversations with Rev. Dan Warriner. A former hospice chaplain, Dan hopes to bring some helpful light into this heated topic. He also provides some helpful guidelines and pastoral wisdom for those who provide support for others.

Rev. Dan Warriner served as a hospice chaplain for eight years before transitioning to a hospital setting in June of 2020. He holds a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is a board-certified chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains. Dan is an ordained minister and active in teaching, preaching, and providing pastoral care as a deacon in his local church. Dan teaches medical professionals about the role and work of the chaplain in providing spiritual care.
